The A.L. Brown Wonders suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They were the victim of a tough 50-26 defeat at the hands of Cox Mill. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat A.L. Brown has suffered against Cox Mill since January 26, 2021.
Despite the loss, A.L. Brown still got an impressive performance from Sadie Faulkner, who scored 13 points.
Makayla Richardson was the offensive standout of the contest as she dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Rachel Betz was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
A.L. Brown has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season. As for Cox Mill, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Mooresville is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. As for Cox Mill, they will be playing at home against Hickory Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hickory Ridge is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
