Burton added to the longest winning streak in 1A-2 Region IV District 13 this week by beating Snook, 26-8. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Panthers.
Milano's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jordan Millar threw for 38 and 1 touchdown and Chance Pack had 23 yards receiving. On the ground Millar contributed 273 yards. Nick Bonorden helped Milano's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 10 yards.
Cody Alexander made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Eagles bested Bartlett. He grabbed 1 sack.
Millar was a beast in the backfield as Milano defeated the Bulldogs.
Millar was the best running back in the league this week. In 23 carries, he ran for 273 yards as Craig Jentsch's team defeated Bartlett. Teammate Pack added to the ground attack by rushing for 63 yards.
Milano's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Millar has thrown for 867 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, while Bonorden has 18 catches for 363 yards. Millar also leads the league in rushing with 1,665 yards.
The Eagles are in first place, while the Bluejays are in third place.
Granger led 1A-2 Region IV District 13 in scoring this week by notching 44 points on Somerville.
