She looked comfortable on the mound,   keeping things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Miller was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  double.
 In other batting news, Hermleigh got a  massive  performance out of  Mia Pence, who  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  triple. Another player making a difference was  Hallie Ellerbe, who  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while going 4-for-4.
The  victory  got Hermleigh back to even at 1-1. As for Munday, their loss was  their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-3.
Hermleigh will have a chance to go back-to-back against Munday: the pair will be back at it again later today.
