The Greenhills Gryphons lost against the Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Greenhills was dealt a 52-6 loss at the hands of Cranbrook Kingswood. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Greenhills has scored all season.
Cranbrook Kingswood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Yasmyn Palmer, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Madeline Day, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Greenhills and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for Cranbrook Kingswood, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-3.
Greenhills will look to defend their home court on Monday against Skyline at 7:00 p.m. Skyline is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Cranbrook Kingswood, they will head out on the road to face off against Richard at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Richard will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings (they are ranked 450th, while Cranbrook Kingswood is ranked 207th).
