Having just played yesterday, the Crawfordsville Athenians will get right back to it and host the Twin Lakes Indians at 7:30 p.m. on February 10th. Crawfordsville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 305th, while Twin Lakes is ranked 149th).
Crawfordsville's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They suffered a tough 59-39 defeat at the hands of Tri-West Hendricks. Crawfordsville has not had much luck with Tri-West Hendricks recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Twin Lakes ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top against Kankakee Valley by a score of 72-63. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Twin Lakes' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jamison Ousley, who scored 26 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Avery Condo was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with seven rebounds.
Crawfordsville dropped their record down to 7-10 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Twin Lakes, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-5.
