Rancho Cotate waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They put the hurt on the St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs with a sharp 62-42 win. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Rancho Cotate to victory were Adam Pengel and Decimus Shaw. Pengel went 7 for 15 on his way to 20 points, while Shaw went 6 of 12 en route to 14 points and four steals. Shaw has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Luke Morie was another key player, putting up four points and six rebounds.

Rancho Cotate smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.
