Baseball Recap: Snook Christian Academy Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

While Snook Christian Academy put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Sparta Academy. Snook Christian Academy put the hurt on Sparta Academy with a sharp 13-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won seven in a row.

Landon Rubel was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Givens, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Snook Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .700. They are 6-2 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Snook Christian Academy's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.4 runs over those games. As for Sparta Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-19.
