The Maple Mountain Golden Eagles will head out on the road to  face off against  the Orem Tigers  at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Maple Mountain has five straight  victories, Orem has three straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Maple Mountain lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Herriman, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's   match. Everything went Maple Mountain's way against Herriman on Saturday as Maple Mountain made off with  a  12-5 win. The result was nothing new for the Golden Eagles, who have now won four games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
  Taylee Robinson was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  four  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Chelsie Carter was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Orem lost  13-2 to Westlake on Monday.
 Orem saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Kiley Hoshnic, who  went 1-for-2 with one  home run and two  RBI. Hoshnic is  on a roll when it comes to  home runs, as she's  now  launched  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played.
 Orem's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Maple Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
 Maple Mountain skirted past Orem  1-0 in their previous matchup  back in May of 2015. Will Maple Mountain repeat their success,  or does  Orem have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
