Make it 19 blowout wins for the Quincy Blue Devils this season. They put the hurt on Alleman with a sharp 52-30 victory on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for Quincy who now have seven in a row.
It was another big night for Jada Brown, who scored 24 points along with eight rebounds. She hasn't dropped below 16 points for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Leila Dade, who scored 12 points along with six assists.
Quincy is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season. As for Alleman, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Quincy will take on the Panthers at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. East Moline United is looking to tack on another W to their 11-game streak on the road. As for Alleman, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Maple Leafs at 7:00 p.m.
