Trinity had won two straight games and Mariah Tyson did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Tigers walked away with a 60-49 victory over the Slocum Mustangs for which the team can thank Tyson, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 11 rebounds. Trinity is 5-1 when Tyson posts ten or more boards, but 1-2 otherwise.

Trinity's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Slocum, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Trinity has already played their next game, a 70-16 victory against Hull-Daisetta on the 4th. As for Slocum, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 61-11 win against Apple Springs on the 4th.
