The Carnegie Wildcats can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 54-36 victory over Gracemont. The win was just what Carnegie needed coming off of a 97-28 loss in their prior matchup.
It was another big night for Karlee Tahkofper, who scored 29 points along with seven steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Carnegie's points. Another player making a difference was Harley Gastineau, who scored eight points along with seven steals.
Carnegie's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Gracemont, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.
Carnegie will head out on the road to face off against Lone Wolf at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gracemont, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Blair at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
