Two dominant backs in John Evans Jr. and Mozes Morris are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Reagan Raiders will welcome the West Forsyth Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
West Forsyth will be up against a hot Reagan squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. The Raiders blew past Parkland 51-0 on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Raiders' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Mustangs are ranked 298th).

Reagan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jacob Smith, who threw for 104 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Smith a new career-high in passer rating (143.3).
Reagan's run defense was locked in: Parkland could only muster -0.4 yards per carry. The team can thank Leo Housel-Rajacich for the heroic effort on defense: he. Reagan didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.9.
Reagan's defense didn't let Ethan Bailey, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. In that department, Alonzo McCoy was the leader with two.
Meanwhile, West Forsyth never let their opponents score on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 55-0 victory over R.J. Reynolds. The Titans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Reagan better keep an eye on Braylen Marrow. He was instrumental in West Forsyth's win, picking up 58 receiving yards and two TDs. The team also got some help courtesy of Haines Robitzer, who threw for 112 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine passes.
West Forsyth didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Joziah Nicholson and Kam Higgins. West Forsyth got some further help from Demarcus Simmons: he picked up a sack and made five total tackles (3.0 for loss).
West Forsyth's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Reagan, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Reagan has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 205.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like West Forsyth struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 239.5 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Reagan was taken down by West Forsyth 27-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
