The Trimble Tomcats had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 69-37 victory over Miller. That's another feather in the cap for Trimble, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bryce Dorsey, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds. Jack Hoskinson was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Trimble's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Miller, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trimble will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Eastern at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. As for Miller, they will be playing at home against Fisher Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
