Liberty Common's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Pierce Richardson, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Richardson pulled down eight or more rebounds. Max Frevert was another key contributor, scoring six points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Sawyer Morgan was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with five assists and five rebounds for Highland. Morgan hasn't dropped below 15points for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Carson Steinke, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Liberty Common's defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-9. As for Highland, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
