Softball Recap: Carrington Has No Trouble Against Thompson

Carrington hadn't done well against Thompson recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Cardinals blew past the Tommies 15-5. Considering the Cardinals have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Carrington's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Thompson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-7.

Carrington wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 17-0 defeat against Central Cass on the 29th. Thompson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
