Baseball Recap: Hillsdale Has No Trouble Against Crestview

After only one run in their last contest, Hillsdale made sure to put some runs up on the board against Crestview on Friday. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Cougars. The Falcons not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since May 23, 2024.

Knox Lewis was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Brock Bower was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Hillsdale was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

The victory got Hillsdale back to even at 2-2. As for Crestview, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.

Hillsdale wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 19-13 loss against Chippewa on the 7th. As for Crestview, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-3 win against Western Reserve on the 7th.
