With a playoff win on the line, Berkley rose to the challenge on Monday. They breezed past the Mott Marauders to the tune of 65-22. That 43 point margin sets a new team best for the Bears this season.
Berkley was led to victory by Drew Sermo and Evan Haenick. Sermo posted 11 points and five assists, while Haenick put up ten points and six rebounds. Haenick is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Sam Niyo, who scored eight points and nine boards.
They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Berkley was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in four consecutive matchups.
