Sale Creek's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Madilynn Ellis, who scored nine points along with two steals. Leighton Mckee was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Something new happened on Tuesday as Mckee saw her first action of the season, playing 12 minutes against Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts. Mckee made the most of the opportunity, scoring nine points. A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.
Lookout Valley's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Sale Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.
