The Gregori Jaguars had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on Pitman with a sharp 28-7 win. The result was nothing new for Gregori, who have now won four contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Michael Marsden continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 201 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. Marsden was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 67 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Reggieon Foster, who picked up 89 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Gregori's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Pitman, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-7.
Gregori will challenge Downey at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pitman, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Modesto at 7:00 p.m. Modesto comes in on a streak of failing to score more than six points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
