Baseball Recap: Grace Christian Comes Up Short at Home Against Newton County Academy

Grace Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 22-1 to the Newton County Academy Generals on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grace Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Central Holmes Christian at 5:00 p.m. on February 28th. As for Newton County Academy, they will take on East Rankin Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
