Leading Macks Creek to victory were Brooklyn Duggan and India Willis. Duggan scored 17 points along with seven steals and six assists, while Willis scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. Willis has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Emma Seaholm, who scored eight points along with five assists and four steals.
Macks Creek's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Hermitage, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.
Macks Creek will look to defend their home court on Friday against Fair Play at 5:30 p.m. Macks Creek has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 334 points over their last five contests. Hermitage is on the road again on Thursday and plays Walnut Grove at 5:30 p.m. on February 8th. Walnut Grove is coming into the contest with six straight victories at home, meaning Hermitage will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
