Basketball Recap: Rossville Christian Academy Extends Winning Streak to Ten

Rossville Christian Academy extended their winning streak to ten games thanks to a huge performance from Fred Motley. The Rossville Christian Academy Wolves took down the West Memphis Christian Black Knights 77-60 on Thursday thanks in part to Motley, who dropped a double-double on 35 points and 12 rebounds. The game was his 11th in a row with at least ten points.

Rossville Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for West Memphis Christian, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rossville Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bayou Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Rossville Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 games -- so hopefully Bayou Academy likes a good challenge. As for West Memphis Christian, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Center Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Center Hill: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while West Memphis Christian has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road.
