Bethany had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They walked away with a 12-8 victory over the Putnam City North Panthers. This was payback for the Bronchos, who suffered a 9-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Bethany pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Putnam City North, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
