Central Catholic found a leader in Ella Schuberg as the team took down Maumee on Thursday. Schuberg wasn't messing around, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was her sixth straight with eight or more strikeouts.

Looking ahead, Schuberg and Central Catholic will take on Springfield at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Thanks in part to Schuberg's efforts, the Fighting Irish will roll in on an 11-game winning streak.
