Big Game from Barnes As Shelbyville Won 43-42
 Starting off the list is Shelbyville's  Dj Barnes, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Barnes rushed for 198 yards and four touchdowns, and also threw for 373 yards and a touchdown while completing 80% of his passes.
 Shelbyville's win was  their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 5-1. Barnes and Shelbyville will head out to  challenge Timpson  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.

Elijah Hardison Turns in Another Game with at Least 145  Rushing Yards
  Elijah Hardison's rushing tear continued  on Friday as he dropped his fourth-straight game with 145+  rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 168 yards and three touchdowns.
 Joaquin pushed their record up to 4-2 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season. Hardison and Joaquin will venture away from home to  take on Hemphill  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.

Dallon Jordan Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
  Dallon Jordan posted a new career-high in  rushing yards  on Friday. He rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  picking up  a  sack, making eight total tackles,  and defending a pass.
 This year,  Jordan  has averaged 20.8 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive:  after six games last season,  he was only averaging 24  rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 81.83  rushing yards.

Trevon Mcdaniel Crosses Big Stat Threshold
 While  Trevon Mcdaniel delivered a dominant  performance  on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Hemphill. Mcdaniel was excellent, rushing for 208 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (115.2).
 Hemphill dropped their record down to 1-5 with the  loss, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Mcdaniel and Hemphill will square off against Joaquin at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.

T.J. Hawkins Makes It Three for Joaquin
 Another Joaquin player making an appearance on this list is  T.J. Hawkins. He rushed for 51 yards and two touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also made three total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defended a pass.
 For the year,  Hawkins  has averaged 4.7 total tackles per game.
