The Seminole Warhawks were handed a two-point defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against the Sports Leadership & Management Spartans on Tuesday. Seminole blew past the Spartans 54-19 on the road. With Seminole ahead 33-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Seminole was led to victory by Laney Pearson and Devon Swartz. Pearson scored 22 points, while Swartz scored 17 points along with eight blocks. That makes it three consecutive games in which Pearson has scored at least a third of Seminole's points.
Seminole is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-12 record this season. As for Sports Leadership & Management, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seminole will take on the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st. Pasco comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 18 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
