Baseball Recap: Wiley Find Success

Wiley hadn't done well against Otis recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Panthers walked away with a 16-13 victory over the Bulldogs. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Bulldogs on Tuesday, they had to take a 13-12 loss.

Wiley let Noah Summers and Devonte Pizarro run wild. Summers got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, five runs, and one RBI, while Pizarro got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, five runs, and one triple. Those five runs gave Summers a new career-high. Ivan Chavez was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Wiley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .524 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
