Richland is  a perfect 10-0 against Hanford since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bombers will face off against the Falcons at 5:00  p.m. Richland will come into the  matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
Richland is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. Everything went their way against Pasco on Thursday as they made off with  a  22-0 victory. Give the Bombers' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

 Sophia Sams made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been consistent  recently: she hasn't  given up  a single  walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with six  RBI, three  runs,  and two  doubles. Those  six  RBI gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Payton Chacon was a standout: she scored three  runs while going 2-for-3. What's more,  she posted three  RBI, the most she's  had since back in April of 2024.  Abby Gavin also deserves some recognition as  she  got her first  hits of the season.
 Richland  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters  in four consecutive  contests.
Ten must be Hanford's lucky number: they beat Walla Walla with that score not once but twice  on Friday. The Falcons didn't even let the Blue Devils on the board, marking the Falcons' second-straight  10-0 shutout. The  win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won four in a row.
 Heidi Sweet was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run over five innings pitched. Sweet was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 In other batting news, Hanford let  Kenzie Hofstad and  Ava Whitish run wild. Hofstad  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-2, while  Whitish  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Audrey Roberts, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Hanford's victory was  their seventh straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 12-2. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.1 runs over those games. As for Richland, their record is now 10-0.
 Richland was able to grind out a solid  victory over Hanford in their previous meeting  on Tuesday, winning  5-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bombers since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
