The Arroyo Dons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 57-56 to Tennyson. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Tennyson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Larrie Noble, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Jose Tecua, who scored 12 points.
Arroyo's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Tennyson, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-10.
Arroyo will take on San Lorenzo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tennyson, they will head out on the road to square off against Encinal at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Tennyson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Wednesday.
