It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Notre Dame Fighting Irish ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They managed a 32-28 win over Kendall. The win made it back-to-back wins for Notre Dame.
Leading Notre Dame to victory were Emma Sisson and Sofia Falleti. Sisson scored seven points along with six rebounds and five assists, while Falleti scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and three blocks. Falleti has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Gianna Falleti was another key contributor, scoring two points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Notre Dame's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Kendall, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-1.
Notre Dame does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Kendall will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rochester Prep at 6:30 p.m. on January 25th.
