It was a good run, but Jackson County unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the Loganville Red Devils. Considering the last time the Panthers couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Jackson County was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly three points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22.

Loganville was led to victory by Katie Brand and Taylor Higgins. Brand had four aces and one assist, while Higgins had four digs. That's the most digs Higgins has posted over her last five matches.

Jackson County's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 26-7. As for Loganville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 24-16 record this season.
