On Saturday Windham take on Timberlane at 1:30 PM. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Windham have to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps state rankings on their side for this one.
Windham faced Salem in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Windham skirted past Salem 31-28.
Meanwhile, Timberlane have to be aching after a bruising 10-44 defeat to Pinkerton last Friday. Timberlane were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 2-30.
Windham's win lifted them to 3-3 while Timberlane's loss dropped them down to 1-5. We'll see if Windham's success rolls on or if Timberlane are able to steal their positive momentum.
