The Bushwick Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They suffered a tough 58-36 loss at the hands of Brooklyn Tech. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bushwick has scored all season.
Troy Hornbeck continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Brooklyn Tech, scoring 19 points along with six rebounds. Hornbeck continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Baseer Mirza, who scored eight points.
Bushwick's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-8. As for Brooklyn Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
Bushwick will be playing in front of their home fans against Gaynor at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Gaynor's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches. As for Brooklyn Tech, they will head out on the road to face off against Sunset Park at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
