After flying high against Bell last Tuesday, Northwest came back down to earth. The Northwest Texans took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Keller Central Chargers on Friday. The Texans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Northwest now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Keller Central, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-9-1 record.

Looking ahead, Northwest will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Southlake Carroll at 7:00 p.m. Southlake Carroll is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season. As for Keller Central, they will venture away from home to challenge Bell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bell has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.5 runs per game on average), something Keller Central will no doubt try to take advantage of.
