The Houston Hilltoppers will take on the Clinton Arrows at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Clinton will be up against a hot Houston team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went Houston's way against Eupora on Saturday as Houston made off with a 14-4 win. That's two games straight that the Hilltoppers have won by exactly ten runs.

Rob Hancock was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Hancock was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Cam Kilgore was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and four RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Smith, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double.
Houston always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .541. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eupora only posted an OBP of .379.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clinton). They put the hurt on Cleveland Central with a sharp 19-3 victory on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Arrows.
Wes Ambrose looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Parker Thames, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Stone Crain also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Houston's record now sits at 10-5. As for Clinton, their record now sits at 12-5.
