The team also got some help courtesy of  Houston Hodges, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Houk wasn't the only one working in the  home run department: Green County  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've managed all season.
Having lost for the first time  this season, Green County  fell to 1-1-2. As for Washington County, the  win was their first  on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Green County will host Bethlehem  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Washington County, they will look to defend their home field  on Monday against East Jessamine  at 6:30  p.m.
