Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Springfield). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Sun Valley Vanguards a 9-0 shutout on Thursday. The Cougars not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 18, 2024 (when they won 10-0).
Nolan Dulski made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Dulski was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
