Spalding's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bahji Daniel, who scored 18 points along with six assists and two steals. Daniel hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Curt Clark, who scored 19 points along with six assists and two steals.
Despite the loss, West Laurens still got an impressive performance from Omarion Coverson, who scored ten points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Juvon Hill, who scored four points along with three steals.
Spalding has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for West Laurens, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
