The Lincoln Leopards will be playing at home against the Stafford Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Lincoln narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Fairfield 50-48.
Meanwhile, Stafford didn't have too much trouble with Otis-Bison at home on Monday as they won 54-36.
Among those leading the charge was Brody Kerschenske, who scored 21 points along with 9 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Stafford's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Simmons, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
The win got Lincoln back to even at 1-1. As for Stafford, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.
Lincoln took a serious blow against Stafford in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 58-28. Thankfully for Lincoln, Joshua Hildebrand (who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
