Softball Recap: Parkwood Has No Trouble Against Monroe

Parkwood never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Monroe Redhawks with a sharp 16-0 win. That looming 16-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wolf Pack yet this season.

Parkwood let Amanda Leibowitz and Riley Hill run wild. Leibowitz scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3, while Hill scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. That's the most hits Leibowitz has posted since back in April of 2024. Makenzie Crowder also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Parkwood kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

The victory got Parkwood back to even at 8-8. As for Monroe, their defeat was their 23rd straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-14.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Parkwood beat the Redhawks by a score of 16-0 later that day.
