The Shandon Outlaws's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 52-25 loss at the hands of Maricopa. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Shandon in their matchups with Maricopa: they've now lost three in a row.
Nathaniel Stroud had a dynamite game for Maricopa, almost dropping a triple-double on 29 points, 14 rebounds, and 9 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Grysko, who scored 7 points along with 11 rebounds and 7 blocks.
Shandon's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Maricopa, their victory bumped their record up to 1-3.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Valley Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Shandon will host Valley Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Maricopa will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
