The Dell Rapids Quarriers will venture away from home to  challenge the Madison Bulldogs  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Madison took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Dell Rapids, who comes in off a win.
Dell Rapids took a loss when they played away from home  two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  last Tuesday. They put the hurt on Vermillion with a sharp  3-0 win.
 Dell Rapids was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19,  25-9.

 Alaina Wolff was nothing short of spectacular: she  had 11  digs and three  aces. She is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's  played.  Jocelyn Amundson was another key player,  getting ten  digs and one  assist.
 They weren't the only good servers: Dell Rapids  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with ten  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least nine  aces in four consecutive  matches.
Meanwhile, Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They came up short against  Chester, falling  3-0.
 Madison might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Chester: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 27-25,  25-22.
 Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Dell Rapids, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 20-5 record  this season.
 Dell Rapids took their  victory against Madison  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2024 by a conclusive  3-0 score. Will the Quarriers repeat their success,  or do  the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
