The Pinewood Prep Panthers will face off against the Florence Christian Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
Pinewood Prep is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They breezed past Northside Christian Academy to the tune of 60-13. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Silas Brawner was his usual excellent self, throwing for 338 yards and five touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. He has become a key player for Pinewood Prep: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise. Tyler Harper did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 82 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Florence Christian strolled past John Paul II with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 28-12. The Eagles pushed the score to 28-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Golden Warrriors cut but never quite recovered from.
The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Andrew Miller and Jadon Inabinett. Miller had a great game and rushed for 184 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Inabinett did his best for the losing side, rushing for 69 yards and one score.
Florence Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Pinewood Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's matchup: Pinewood Prep has been excellent in the air this season, having averaged 268 passing yards per game. It's a different story for Florence Christian, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 92.9 passing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant passing game?
Pinewood Prep took their win against Florence Christian when the teams last played back in October of 2023 by a conclusive 35-12 score. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Eagles' Juels I Huntley, who rushed for 150 yards and one touchdown.
