After flying high against LaGrange last Tuesday, Eunice came back down to earth. Eunice fell just short of Erath by a score of 7-5 on Friday. Eunice's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Eunice's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Erath, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eunice will host Iowa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Erath, they will be playing at home against Pineville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
