The Lowville Red Raiders and the Albany Academy for Boys Cadets will round out the year against one another at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at. Lowville will be strutting in after a win while Albany Academy for Boys will be coming in after a defeat.
Two weeks ago, everything went Lowville's way against Indian River as Lowville made off with a 73-49 victory.
Meanwhile, Albany Academy for Boys came up short against St. Thomas Aquinas on Tuesday and fell 63-54. While losing is never fun, Albany Academy for Boys can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 142nd in New York, while St. Thomas Aquinas is ranked eighth in Florida).
Lowville now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Albany Academy for Boys, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.
Lowville took a serious blow against Albany Academy for Boys when the teams last played back in December of 2019, falling 71-44. Can Lowville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
