If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Wilton. On Friday they take on Columbus at 7:00 PM. Wilton will be strutting in after a win while Columbus will be stumbling in from a loss.
Wilton might be getting used to good results now that the squad have three wins in a row. They had enough points to win and then some against Mediapolis last Friday, taking their matchup 20-3.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Columbus, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to seven. They took a serious blow against Sigourney-Keota, falling 12-48.
Wilton took the match and then some with a 48-13 victory the last time the two teams met over Columbus. Will Wilton repeat their success, or does Columbus have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
