The Chillicothe Hornets will head out on the road to take on the St. Paul Lutheran Saints at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chillicothe is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
Chillicothe stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They blew past Camdenton 62-38. Given Chillicothe's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while Camdenton is ranked 407th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Chillicothe's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jackson Trout, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Trout has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Langsten Johnson, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, St. Paul Lutheran beat Lone Jack 59-52 on Wednesday.
Chillicothe's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for St. Paul Lutheran, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-5.
