Cozad extended their winning streak to eight on Monday, bumping them up to 8-0. They breezed past the Wood River Eagles to the tune of 78-32. The Haymakers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 22 points or more this season.
Kellen Shoemaker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 62% from the field on his way to 32 points and three steals. The matchup was his third in a row with at least 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Olliver Davis, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.
Cozad was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wood River only posted six.
