Basketball Recap: Lawrenceville's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Lawrenceville waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They put the hurt on the Casey-Westfield Warriors with a sharp 57-32 victory. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Lawrenceville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Noah Wilson led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. Jayden Goff was another key player, going 6 of 13 en route to 15 points in addition to five boards and three blocks.

Lawrenceville was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Casey-Westfield only racked up four assists.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hayden Parcel, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. That's the most boards Parcel has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson High, who posted six points.

Lawrenceville has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 27.5% in those games and 24% outside of them. As for Casey-Westfield, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-5 record.

Lawrenceville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-43 win against Richland County on the 31st. As for Casey-Westfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 62-36 victory against Paris on the 31st.
