Storm Lake will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Alta/Aurelia at 7:00 PM. Storm Lake have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
Storm Lake had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They captured a comfortable 33-13 win over Washington.
Meanwhile, Alta/Aurelia took care of business in their home opener. They took their game against Lawton-Bronson last Friday 27-15.
